how this resource was made

This resource was made by Erin Taylor, an occupational therapy student, as their occupational therapy doctoral (OTD) capstone project. Erin is a white, queer, transgender person living in the United States of America, attending a research university on occupied Narraganset, Massachusett, Wampanoag, and Nipmuc land. They are transmisogyny exempt (TME). Erin lives with chronic physical and mental disabilities which inform their practice as a medical professional.

The project includes contributions from a variety of sources, all of which will be listed and linked here.

1. Conversations with clinicians at a major United States hospital where RFF phalloplasties are performed
2. Patient handouts about RFF phalloplasty recovery from a major United States hospital where RFF phalloplasties are performed
3. Internal OT education resources about RFF phalloplasty from a major United States hospital where RFF phalloplasties are performed
4. Interviews with seven patients from a variety of hospitals across the United States and Canada who had previously had RFF phalloplasty or were considering getting RFF phalloplasty
